The best galaktoboureko I’ve had in Thessaloniki. The story begins in 1965 in Athens, when Sokratis Galyfianakis opened the first galaktoboureko store in Greece. In 1992, his daughter brought the brand to Thessaloniki, along with the slogan “the first of Greece”, which you see glowing in neon lights through the shop window.
